Hostess Gift Guide

From Left to Right: Tea Forte tea chest has a variety of quality handcrafted teas with exquisite packaging. Olio Santo Olive Oil is one of Ina Garten’s favorite brands of oils and is a great example of something that people will actually use, but wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves. A Brooklyn Slate Cheese Board, because can one really ever have too many cheese boards? Homemade granola from Relish Fine Foods is such a nice treat.  Savon de Marseille soap smells lovely and looks nice sitting on a dish in your guest bathroom. Julia B Couture Linens “Wash” bag is great for holiday traveling. Give the gift of the MFAH. The Museum of Fine arts, Houston membership is a gift that lasts all year long! Free tickets to see Monet and the Seine: Impressions of a River, free general admission for a year, preview parties, discounted lectures and more are included! Scalamandre inspired cocktail napkins will be a hit at the next party. Leslie Sinclair’s new book, Segreto Style, just came out this fall and makes a perfect holiday gift. A Bientot antler bottle opener lends an attractive rustic touch to any bar set up.

  1. Thanks for the great suggestions. I often give a wonderful olive oil (especially to my friends that cook) and find that it is always well received. I LOVE Leslie’s new book Segreto Style and will definitely be sharing this beautiful work.

  2. Thank you so much for including us in your gift list! We certainly are in good company with all of your great ideas!

  3. I realize that Christmas is over, but since I just found your blog I thought I would go ahead and leave a comment. 🙂 I love your list of the Best Hostess Gifts! Olio Santo Olive Oil is my favorite, love Tea Forte, and the Marseille Savon I always pick up when in Napa Valley! I also looked at your Portfolio and love your design work and your friends with Leslie, who is a darling! Anyways, this has to be the longest “comment” I have ever left. 🙂 Let me end by saying I wish you the best of everything! And I will be following your work. Rié

    1. Rié, Thank you for taking the time to visit L/E Journal and for leaving such a nice note. We hope you are attending the Design Bloggers Conference in Atlanta this month, so we can meet you in person!
