Lucas/Eilers Design Associates, LLP was founded in 1995 by partners Sandra Drews Lucas and Sarah Brooks Eilers.  Having worked together for 15 years, the two designers felt that the time was right to open a firm speciaizing in quality residential design.  The philosophy of the firm is to expertly implement the principles and elements of design in each project while incorporating exceptional attention to detail to create classic interior spaces that function beautifully for years to come.

Award winning designs include traditional, contemporary, and eclectic projects across North America in locations including Houston, New York, Colorado, California, Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Vermont, Washington DC and New Mexico.  Clients confidently expect Lucas/Eilers Design Associates, LLP to coordinate all aspects of design from the planning phase through completion with professional staff and excellent business practices.   Thoughtful consideration of each client's vision and an emphasis on clear communication contribute to the success of each project.

Sandra Drews Lucas began her design career in 1978, working for an architectural firm after receiving a B.S. in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin.  She taught Design and Drafting at The Art Institute of Houston and spent fifteen years as a Senior Designer with The Bryan Design Associates before forming Lucas/Eilers Design Associates LLP in 1995.  Sandy has been a professional member of ASID and NCIDQ since 1982, is licensed by TBAE, and is a member of TAID.

Sarah Brooks Eilers received a B.S. in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin in 1980.  She was a Senior Designer with The Bryan Design Associates for fifteen years, establishing longstanding relationships with vendors and gaining extensive knowledge of design and residential products.  Sarah wins many awards for her design work and her projects are frequently published.  She enjoys an active roll in ASID, most recently serving as Treasurer.  Sarah has been a member of TAID, NCIDQ since 1985, and is a Licensed Interior Designer by TBAE.
