Design Assistant 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited university or college
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office-Word, Excel and Outlook and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience using Studio Designer is a plus but not required
  • Team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and decision-making ability
  • Strong attention to detail with meticulous follow-through
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design development: furniture plans, lighting plans, elevations, tile details, millwork, fabric and finish selections
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations
  • Creating specification and finish schedules
  • Generating client proposals and purchase orders
  • Working closely with Project Designers, Procurement Manager and maintaining relationships with architects, contractors, and vendors
  • Knowledge of high-end showrooms – furniture, lighting, and materials
  • Assisting with project installations and photo shoots 


Accountant/Office Manager

 Required Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Office management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook. We use Studio Designer and will train on internal design software
  • Excellent accounting and math skills
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt to a variety of situations
  • Strong analytical skills and self-sufficient problem solver
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Independent worker with exceptional organizational and time management skills


Accounting Responsibilities include:

  • Schedule and pay vendors; enter and properly code accounts payable and credit card transactions
  • Record cash receipts, prepare bank deposits and reconcile and maintain all balance sheet accounts
  • Enter and process payroll bi-monthly
  • Prepare, file and pay monthly sales tax reports and various other reports needed by principals and tax accountant.
  • Prepare, finalize and review monthly financial statements with principals
  • Serve as a liaison with tax accountant, insurance brokers, and other outside consultants


Office Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative operations, procedures and office services
  • Provide administrative support to two principals
  • Provide necessary support to design teams and two procurement managers
  • Oversee technical support and maintenance of office equipment
  • Create reports for the two principals including but not limited to employee reviews, project/client billing, vendor volumes, etc. and analyze performance metrics for these reports
