‘Tis The Season

The most wonderful time of year is here and there is something truly magical about this season! We love when the air turns crisp, homes are lovingly dressed in their holiday best, and days are spent making fireside memories with those we love most.

Sarah’s tree is shining bright!

This year has been filled with travel and joyful reunions with many of our friends and colleagues. Although the year wasn’t without a few hiccups, we are grateful for all of the good it brought to our lives, and for our clients who continue to make it possible for us to do what we love most.

Couldn’t resist taking a selfie at the Hotel de la Ville!

If the past few years have taught us anything it’s that the gift of being together is the greatest gift of all…but watching a loved one’s face light up as they unwrap that “special something” is certainly at the top of the list.

With that in mind, we are delighted to be sharing our 2022 Holiday Gift Guide! We hope you enjoy this collection of gifts and goodies from a few of our favorite local Houston businesses.

1. Terlizzi Tea Towels (Set of 2) from Foto Relevance // 2. The Draper Touch: The High Life and High Style of Dorothy Draper // 3. El Tren Mexican Train Crystal Acrylic from Longoria Collection // 4. 19th Century Louis Phillipe Mirrors from Joyce Horn Antiques // 5. European Carved Rocking Rabbit from Upper Kirby Consignment // 6. Tiny’s Milk and Cookies because who doesn’t love hand-delivered freshly-baked treats? // 7. Take care of dinner for a friend with delicious meals prepared by the team at Belong Kitchen // 8. Mark Cagnon Paper Mache Urn in Sapphire from Tribute Goods

Don Your Holiday Best

The holiday season in Houston is always merry and bright! If you and yours are looking for festive events to attend, these are not-to-be-missed:

Christmas Village at Bayou Bend Gardens

Lightscape at Houston Botanic Garden

Holiday Fun at The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center (enjoy a starry night with hot chocolate in hand or learn how to build a gingerbread house for birds)

The Winter Cathedral is part of  the Botanic Garden’s Lightscape exhibit and it’s a tunnel  made from 100,000 lights!

Before we go, we’re sharing a few more pics that are sure to put you in that holiday spirit (whether it’s 8° outside or 80° ):

Last year’s gorgeous tree at The Ritz London!
The Ritz London
The American Embassy in Paris, 2020.
Every year, Annabel’s in London debuts their grand holiday facade and this year’s vintage carousel-inspired installation is quite spectacular!

Please note that our office will close at noon on December 23 and we will reopen on Tuesday, January 3.

Until then, we hope the season fills your heart with love and your home with joy and laughter. We look forward to seeing you in 2023!

“It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.”
