Enjoying the most delightful evening at the Florescence: Metamorphosis cocktail party at Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Hello and happy summer! From travel and events to two print features, and the most lovely conversation with Pamela Lamp of Who I Met Today, we’ve been soaking up a bright and beautiful spring. We hope it’s been a delightful season for you as well!

Keep reading for a look at our latest and greatest and, if you missed our last note detailing our team’s visit to Paris for Deco Off and Maison & Objet, be sure to visit our blog where you can find all of our updates in one place.

On Stands Now

What an honor to have two L/E projects featured in print this spring! One is an award-winning renovation Sandy completed here in Houston and the other is a gorgeous waterfront property in Rhode Island designed by Sarah. We’re sharing a sneak peek of each here and you can order copies of your very own by tapping the buttons below!

“Who I Met Today” Podcast with Pamela Lamp

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Pamela Lamp, a fascinating woman who relocated from Houston to Nashville leaving 20+ years of fond friendships and memories behind. Being in a new city was a challenge, but Pam found a way to comfortably settle into her surroundings and meet new people.

Today, she hosts the Who I Met Today podcast, dedicating her time to sharing people’s stories, asking how they do what they do, how they got to where they are today, and what lessons they learned along the way?

Pam called on us to share our thoughts on everything from our business partnership to the family homes, beach houses, and ranch properties we design for our clients. Press play below to hear our thoughts on renovations versus new construction projects, design trends, induction cooktops, body sprays and everything in between!

PaperCity Design Awards

Speaking of Sarah’s Rhode Island project, we have some exciting news – it took home a PaperCity Design Award for Best Dining Room and we had the opportunity to celebrate with our friends and colleagues during Texas Design Week!

Florescence: Metamorphosis

Hosted by River Oaks Garden Club and The Garden Club of Houston, Florescence is one of our very favorite events of the season! It was originally presented at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in 1995 and all proceeds directly support projects in gardens, parks, and green spaces throughout the Houston community.

Every Florescence event incorporates several classes of floral design and talented designers, gardeners, and artists from member clubs all over the country enter and exhibit. This year’s event was truly spectacular and we loved doing our part to keep the arrangements happy, healthy and watered throughout the exhibition!
